Opinion/Notes: The existing logo is… nothing. It's just text that one could call a wordmark if someone had shown any interest in doing it right. The new logo for the Russian market goes for the visual pun of something going upwards, skyrocketing to glory. While the idea is appropriate (yet obvious) the execution is rather poor with a really ugly, erect "A" that doesn't match either the other "A" or even the proportions of the "V" — it's just very weird, unbalanced, and unattractive. The packaging, while a clear improvement, looks almost like chewing gum packaging. Its only saving grace is the perforation at the angle of the "A". Other than that, if you are looking for design arousal, you'll have to look elsewhere.
